So, I was driving to work this morning..

minding my own business, when suddenly the guy in front of me swerves from the middle lane and sideswipes the guy in the left lane.
At the same instant, I find out why the guy in front of me did what he did. He was trying to avoid some LARGE HEAVY object that was in the middle of the road. Unfortunately, I was unable to see this mystery object......right before I slammed into it!
It felt like I hit a brick wall, the air bags deployed, and I landed.....that's right, I said LANDED.
Apparently, (according to a witness) my car left the ground by quite a few feet!
When I landed, the car was dead. No lights, no power, no nothing. Luckily, I was able to roll to the shoulder and out of harms way. Through all of that, I never made contact with another vehicle! The car was filled with powder (from the air bags) and smoke. I got the hell out of there and called 911. The car is totaled. Check it out.....

...and in case you don't know,,,,air bags hurt!...

Sorry about your car man, but at least you are alive. Besides that on your arm, you had no internal problems ?

damn dude that sucks, but at least youre ok except for the bumps, cuts and briuses. cars can be replaced, but you cant. I'd try like hell and find out from the cops what you hit and go after whomever left it out there (if its marked in anyway) and make them pay for that. I'm glad youre ok dude.

and the smoke and powder is harmless corn starch that they use with the air bags, at least thats what it used to be made out of when I did rescue
